Raw porridge


  • Porridge oats
  • Linseeds
  • Dried Raisins
  • Maple/date/agave syrup
  1. Soak the Oats and Linseeds in water overnight in a sealed container (use about double the depth of water to oats).
  2. Eat as you find it in the morning, sweeten with Syrup.
Oats and linseeds are both very nutritious but not that easy to digest — soaking overnight does much of the work for you. The water will turn into oat ‘milk’ and the seeds, oats, raisins will be soft and easy to digest. The texture is unusual (the linseeds become rather ‘gloopy’) but this is a perfect breakfast to keep you going if you have a tough day ahead.
